Great Customer Service and Great Selection
Love buying from Waterstones as there is such a great selection, especially regarding exclusive and signed editions-I contacted customer service recently about an issue I had and this was sorted out very quickly so I’m very happy with the help I received.

Really impressed with the online…
Really impressed with the online customer support following a publishers delay's with a book. A long time after the order was placed for shop collection I was contacted to say the book was available again, did I still want it? As I was no longer in the vicinity of that shop I needed mail order instead. All sorted in a very pleasant manner. Excellent

Ordered two books twice
Ordered two books twice! Tried to cancel online but both orders turned up in my local Waterstones. Emailed customer service and Lisa promptly dealt with my refund. Many thanks.

Waterstones world wide!
We always enjoy trips to waterstones when we visit the UK, and we have also found fantastic service online when ordering to ship around the world! I thought part of an order was lost but I found the second tracing number and customer service answered my emails quickly and kindly! Love being able to share some of the books my kids have found while traveling my with nieces and nephews I the states, as well as ordering for ourselves when we lived overseas.

The customer service was excellent!!
The customer service was excellent!!! They answered us really quickly and offered to send us a free book to replace the one we ordered (it hasn’t been delivered and was sent back which was the mistake of the delivery company). Communication was easy,friendly,fast and helpful and we are very happy to order at Waterstones again in the future.
Terrible Communication for pre orders
No wonder traditional book shops are slowly loosing business when you don't communicate with your customers. Anything I have ever pre ordered and was supposed to arrive on the release day it has been at least a week late. Crescent City 2 was 11 days late. I ordered Glow Special Edition, email send 2 days after the release date to say there are warehouse delays because of update to the system. You knew it was going to affect the delivery on time why not tell customers earlier. This is why Amazon is taking 80% of your business away.

I received a book that was supposed to be signed, but was not. Lisa with Waterstones got a signed copy sent out to me the same day.
